CODE: MPIT04 Lares to Machu Picchu 4 Days

(Daily departures, is not subject to space availability is total).

Description Lares

An exceptional alternative to the Inca Trail, the Lares is way off the beaten track and has hardly changed since Inca times. Hidden within the magnificent snow capped Andes is a part of Peru where you have all the appeal of the Inca Trail like magical mountain scenery and the legacy of the Incas but without the tourist crowds. An exceptional alternative to the extremely busy Inca Trail, the Lares Valley is so far off the beaten track that it has changed little over the last 500 years. With original Inca trails, spectacular and diverse scenery (even more so than the main Inca Trail) and the promise of a glimpse of life the way it used to be in Peru, it is amazing that the area has remained untouched by tourism. Yet somehow, it has slipped from view and retains an authenticity like no where else in Peru.

Anyone has experience with Leading Peru Travel ?

shucruts: Opinó Hi, me and my wife were in Peru last July, Lima, Cusco, Puno and Arequipa. Leading Peru Travel organized several tours for us: Salkantay Trekking, Lake Titicaca Tour, Colca Canion Trekking, Bus Tour Cusco to Puno and Puno to Chivay and Tour Campiña in Arequipa.. They made a hotel reservation in each place, most of time they send me three options to choose. Hotel price are similar to booking.com, tours price are really cheaper then other options I had here in Brazil. They are very organized and we are very satisfied with Leading Peru Travel. I made a reservation deposit of 1/3 of the total value by Western Union 1 months before the travel. A friend of mine that had used their services suggested me this company. All the negotiation was done by e-mail with Julio Cesar Quispillo and Gladys Cahuana Condori. Good prices and good services.

I write in english but I'm french Leading Peru is a local agency, extremely friendly, responsable and flexible. We made a trip of 3 and half weeks with them and it was really well organized and properly scheduled. We have received good and wise advises from them. What I want to add is not to confuse the agency and the country, so yes sometimes we got delayed or we missed some places but that has nothing to do with the professionalism of the agency, it can be because of the weather, the road condition or other. This is why it is important to write a thoughtfull message. Everything we put in the program was done accordingly and we also got extra good surprises. So for everyone I would recommend leading peru, it is not just an agency they act like friends. Thanks Gladys for your extreme patience with my billion of e-mails.!! It was also great that they propose to organize the biggest part on skype. We saved a lot of time and it is always nice to hear the voice of people before you go Thanks again and maybe see you again.
