PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: 14 DAYS AND 13 NIGHTS (LIMA - CUSCO - MACHUPICCHU - VALLE SAGRADO - PUNO - LAGO TITICACA - COPACABANA - UYUNI - LA PAZ - PUNO - LIMA)

First day: City tour in Lima, visit Huaca Pucllana

• Welcome and transfer to from Lima airport to hotel.
• In the afternoon city tour to "City of Kings".
• Overnight at hotel in Lima

Once you arrive in Peru our personal will welcome you in the hall of the airport and drive you to the hotel. After resting for a while we'll start visiting the most interesting places of the " City of the Kings ": the Cathedral, Pizarro's Tomb, the Catacombs of San Francisco, passing through the Congress, the Palace of Torre Tagle. The residential areas of Orrantia, San Isidro, where we will visit the Huaca Pucllana, we will enjoy a spectacular sight of the Pacific Ocean. Rafael Larco Herrera Museum, where you will find a great quantity of preincaica pottery including the World biggest collection of erotic Huacos, then we'll spend the night at the hotel.

Second day: City tour in Cusco, music Show and dances of Cusco

• Flight Lima to Cusco (1 hour).
• Welcome and transfer from Cusco airport to hotel.
• City Tour Cusco: Cathedral, Qoricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Tambomachay ... (evenings from 13:30 hrs - 18:30 hrs.).
• Show typical dances and music of Cusco (from 19:00 hrs to 20:00 hrs).
• Overnight at hotel in Cusco.

City tour around Cusco and outskirts You must be in the airport of Lima at least two hours before your flight leaves to Cusco,you only have to approach to the airline counter and display your ID's to check in ,the flight to Cusco lasts 1 hr and 10 minutes, In Cusco " The Archaeological Capital of America ", Our staff will be waiting for you to take you to the Hotel, where you will drink coca tea then you can rest for a while .around 1:30pm We'll pick you up from your Hotel to start visiting the following attractives with a professional guide :

1. The Koricancha Palace and Convent of Santo Domingo: Religious center known as "The Temple of the Sun" where you will admire the impressive engineering used in its construction
2. The Cathedral: Colonial religious monument of extraordinary artistic value.
3. Sacsayhuaman: Built at 3 Km. From the city of Cusco, impressive stone fortress with an excellent architecture, Famous for its huge carved stones some of which are at 9 m/ 30 feet high,with a weigh of 350 tons. Here is where the Inty Raymi or Fiesta del Sol is held in June Every year.
4. Qenqo: Ceremonial and ritual center, amphitheatre where sacrifices were made.
5. Puca-Pucara: An old tambo (resting place), monitoring place throughout the Inka Empire Routes.
6. Tambomachay: At 7 Km. From the city of Cusco, ceremonial center of cult to the water,known traditionally as the place where water rests.

At the return to Cusco we can be dropped off near to main Square or at The Dance and Music Show to watch tipical dances of Cusco.

Third day: Tour a Machupicchu "The lost City of the Inkas"

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Tour to Machupicchu (all day from 06:00 hrs - 20:00 hrs).
• Overnight at hotel in Cusco.

 From 05:45 hrs to 06:00 hrs., we pick you up from your Hotel in Cusco (3400 mosl) and drive you to the Train Station, located in Poroy, then we get aboard the train and the trip from Cusco starts heading to Aguas Calientes (2000 mosl). Our Guide Will be waiting there, he will lead us to the bus station, to go up by a zigzag way for 30 minutes to reach the world wide marvel The Sanctuary of Machupicchu, known as the lost city of the Incas. Once we get to Machu-Picchu, We'll pass throught the control, where we'll hand in our entrance tickets and where our guided tour will start, visiting the main square, the Circular tower, the sacred solar watch, the royal rooms, the temple of the three windows and the cementeries, it lasts around two hours. Afterwards you'll be given enough time to have a walk around the citadel and have your meals , at any restaurant in Aguas Calientes or if you wish at Santuary Lodge (this is not included).

In the afternoon, between 15:30 hrs and 17:00 hrs we'll return on train to Cusco, we'll be waiting for you at the train station and then we'll take you back to your hotel.

Fourth day: Tour to the Sacred Valley of the Inkas

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Tour to the Sacred Valley of the Inkas (all day from 08:00 hrs - 19:00 hrs).
• Overnight at hotel in Cusco.

This tour starts around 09:00 hrs., we pick you up at your Hotel, we have a guided tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, over the Vilcanota river, with a panoramic view of Pisac an old Inca City and a visit to the Inka market in this village, where we will have the chance to know in a closer way its people customs and get good bargains with the handycrafts and souvenirs sellers, afterwards we'll head for Urubamba, traveling on the borders of the river Vilcanota.

We'll have lunch at a restaurant in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. In the afternoon we visit the fortress and citadel of Ollantaytambo, built to watch the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from the jungle habitants invasions. We'll have the chance to walk by the narrow streets and have a clear knowledge of how this militar, religious and cultural center was during the Inca empire.

On the way back to Cusco we will stop by the colorful village of Chinchero, where we will find the ruins of the Tupac Inca Yupanqui Royal House, we will appreciate its well preserve Inca wall in the man square and you will visit the beauty Colonial Temple with invaluable portraits, built over Inca Bases. Then we return to Cusco.

Fifth day: TOURIST TRIP FROM CUSCO TO PUNO, VISITING RAQCHI

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Transfer from the hotel to the terminal in Cusco to Puno tourism.
• Guided Tour from Cusco to Puno (All Day 08:00 hrs - 18:00 hrs).
• Overnight at hotel in Puno

After breakfast, we will take you to the bus station to start with our trip to Puno this a tour lasts around 8 hours you will have 4 guided visits, Andahuaylillas's temple or South American Sixtine Chapel, the Inka temple of Raqchi, Buffet lunch in Sicuani,La Raya at 4335 m.a.s.l and the Inka Aymara museum of Pukara. Every visit has a duration of 20 or 40 minutes, where the passenger will be able to make questions, take photos and walk a for a while, doing our trip very pleasant .Then we wll arrive in Puno, and our staff will take you to the Hotel.(Photo: Raqchi).

Sixth day: TOUR TO THE TITICACA LAKE, UROS ISLAND AND TAQUILE

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Tour of Lake Titicaca, Uros Island, Taquile.
• Overnight at hotel in Puno

 Early in the morning you will be picked up from your hotel by our local guide and then transferred to the harbor. We start off our boat excursion of Lake Titicaca by visiting The Uros Floating Island, a small community that has lived on these reed Islands for decades. Centuries ago the small indigenous Uros tribe conceived of the islands as a way to isolate and protect themselves from rival tribes, the Collas and the Incas. The Uros people harvested the reeds in the shallows of the lake, bundled them together tightly and built floating island platforms complete with reed houses and canoes, creating in this way their own little world. After strolling around the floating Islands, we continue our journey towards Taquile Island (2 hour aprox.), a traditional Quechua speaking community, full of ancient agricultural terraces and some ruins dating back to the pre-Inca times. The Taquile population was relatively isolated from the mainland until 1950s, and the notion of the community and family is still very strong among them. At the top of the Island, you will have free time to explore this place on your own and afterwards you will meet the group for lunch at one local restaurant. After lunch, we will descent to the harbor to take our boat back to Puno. We will be back in Puno by 17:00 hrs. approximately.

Seventh day: Tour to Copacabana and Isla del Sol 

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Travel by bus from Puno to Copacabana.
• Tour to Copacabana and the Sanctuary of the Virgen Morena.
• Tour to Isla del Sol
• Night in hotel in Copacabana

Breakfast in the hotel, then we'll go to the Puno bus terminal to board the tour bus heading to Copacabana the trip takes 3 hours. In Copacabana visit the Cathedral, the Shrine of the Black Virgin and the main square. A noon lunch typical food, then we will make the tour to Isla del Sol, across the lake for about an hour and a half to reach the southern part of the Isla del Sol, where we visited the Archaeological remains of "Pillcokaina-Temple Inca ", a religious center, then a short walk through the steps of Yumani, until you reach the fountain of youth, there you can cool off with a bit of holy water, it is believed that this source is the source of eternal youth, and also enjoy the beauty of that beautiful garden of the Incas. Eighth day: Travel by bus from Copacabana to La Paz and La Paz to Uyuni 

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Free morning in Copacabana.
• In the afternoon travel by bus from Copacabana to La Paz.
• Reception at the Bus Station.
• Afternoon available for purchasing.
• At night bus trip from La Paz to Uyuni (All night from 21:00 hrs - 07:00 hrs)

After breakfast at the Hotel, will have the morning to tour the city of Copacabana, complete the purchase of handicrafts and souvenirs, as well as to learn more about local customs and daily life of the settler in the area. Later in the evening 13.30 hrs, we board the bus to La Paz. Upon arrival our staff will be waiting for you to make a trip around town and take them to dinner at night 09.00 hrs to hours aboard the bus en route to the town of Uyuni. Ninth day: Starting the tour of the Salar de Uyuni

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Excursion to the Salar de Uyuni.
• Visit to the "Fish Island" and the Hotel made of Salt.
• Overnight Hotel Uyuni.

On arrival at the town of Uyuni, our staff will be waiting for you, to have breakfast and then begin our trip to Salar de Uyuni, the largest salt desert in the world. On the way visit the salt exploitation and hotels Colchani salt, continuing the program runs Incahuasi Island (also known as Fish Island). Of volcanic origin and plated estromalitos and giant cactus, from this place are the immensity of the Salar and enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the salt flat and mountain ranges that surround it, then we headed toward the town of San Juan, where spend the night in the house of a villager (hot showers and basic services). Tenth day: Tour San Juan - Laguna Colorada 

• Tour to Salt desert, visiting the lakes.
• Visit to the "lake of color" to see how the water seems to change color.
• At night time we'll camp on the Salar

After breakfast in the town of San Juan, crossed the Salar de Chiguana. The road climbs from 3600 to 4200 meters high. Along the Chilean border, we go to the foot of volcanoes Ollagüe (still active) and Tomasamil (5900 m), we will cross the path called the Jewels: Cañapa gaps, Stinking, Honda and Ch'arkota, where we see a diverse fauna ranging from alpacas and llamas to rheas and pink flamingos. Eleventh day: Laguna Colorada - Laguna Verde 

• At approximately 18:00 hrs. we will go to see the Geiser.
• We can rest in "Laguna Capaña" where we can realax in Thermal waters.
• Visit to Laguna Verde to observe the color change of this shortfall.
• In the afternoon transfer to Uyuni at 18:00 hrs.
• Tourist bus ride from Uyuni to La Paz. (At night from 21:00 hrs - 07:00 hrs)

We leave at 06:00 hrs on a trip to the geysers Sol de Mañana (4850 meters), a volcanic crater with sulfur fumes and vapors of heavy water. Visit after the Salt Lake before crossing the desert of Dali. At the appointed time arrive at the Green Lagoon at the foot of the volcano Licancabur (5,900 m), to observe the color change of the gap, ending the tour will be transferred to Uyuni, where we board the bus back to the city of La Paz, hours the bus leaves at 9.00pm. Twelfth day: City Tour en La Paz 

• Reception in La Paz and accommodation at the hotel.
• City tour to "valley of the moon"
• Dinner and folklore show.
• Hotel night in La Paz

In the morning on his arrival from Uyuni, our staff will be waiting at the bus terminal for transportation to the hotel and rest in the morning. In afternoon we'll visit the city of La Paz returning to his typical artisan market, the colonial church of San Francisco, the famous witch doctor market and the Plaza Murillo where are the Government Palace, Cathedral and National Congress, then avenue Jaen where interesting museums are located, followed by open-air museum of Tiwanaku culture. Will continue with visits to residential areas Obrajes Calocoto and Florida. Finishing with a visit to the Magic Valley of the Moon. In the evening, enjoy a show of typical dances colorful costumes. Thirteenth day: Travel by bus from La Paz to Puno 

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Transfer to bus terminal in La Paz.
• Bus from La Paz to Puno (Morning from 07:00 hrs to 13.00 hrs).
• Transfer to your hotel in Puno.
• Night in hotel in Puno

After taking breakfast at the hotel will be transferred to the bus terminal in La Paz, to board the bus in 6 hours, it moved to the city of Puno, our staff will be waiting and drive you to your hotel, so you can rest . In the afternoon tour to Chullpas Sillustani pre-Inca burial towers located on the shores of Lake Umayo, the highest is about 12 ms. Finally passed the night in the hotel. Fourteenth day: Flight from Juliaca to Lima 

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Tour Sillustani Chullpas.
• Transfer to Juliaca airport.
• Flight Juliaca to Lima. (Times to choose)

After breakfast at hotel, take some time off to visit the center of the city of Puno, at a time that we will indicate the hotel pick up and transfer to Juliaca airport which is about an hour from Puno, there is check at the airport counter, they hand over their flight and then take the air flight to Lima.
