Departure Stations and Routes
 

Trains depart from three main stations:

• Poroy (Cusco): 20 minutes from Cusco, operating only during the dry season (April - December).
• Ollantaytambo: Located in the Sacred Valley, this is the busiest station with the most available schedules.
• San Pedro (Cusco): Offers limited departures, usually with tourist trains.
   

Trains arrive in Aguas Calientes, the closest town to Machu Picchu, from where you can take a 30-minute bus ride to the Inca citadel.
